Twitter for cats.

It was just Thurday morning...naught but two days ago. I was rushing as to not be late for work. The usual bustle...brushing the teeth, combing the hair, searching for keys, rushing to get the clothes on, collecting the bagged lunch... Only before I could put my clothes on, I came rushing in the room and stepped on something in my stockinged feet. It squeaked so I thought it was a cat toy. Only thing is, Bey doesn't own any cat toys that squeak.

What it was was the expelling air from the lungs a small bird that that crazy cat had brought me as a gift. Not only was there a small dead bird, there were TWO small dead birds (possibly wrens or sparrows about the size of field mice)he had brought in and I hadn't noticed them nor when he brought them in. He just left them by my bedroom threshold next to my dresser. I never saw them beforehand. I just stared down at them in wonder.

I wondered where they came from? How he got TWO? (I mean, did he win Kitty Lotto?). When did he put them there? While I was sleeping? Why were there no feathers or signs of a struggle, let alone forced entry? Why did he put them at THAT specific spot that far into or rather almost OUT of the room? The black "ring" on the floor is a small sized (diamater of a U.S. Quarter dollar) pony tail holder. That will give you scale.

Oh! and before you say anything, YES, I hadn't vacuumed yet. Bey doesn't wait for me to clean the house before he sullies it with bird carcass.

I guess that's cat for twitter tweeting.
